Day 288 - Saturday, October 15, 2011 – Jordyn, Mom, and I went to see Bailey perform as part of the Michigan Youth Opera Chorus along with the Michigan Opera Theatre in Carmina Burana and the Medium at the Detroit Opera House. This was my first opera and it was quite a night.

Day 281 - Saturday, October 8, 2011 – My mom came over today to help me put my food processor to good use. We made zucchini bread and muffins and lots of soup to freeze for the winter months ahead.

Day 156 - Sunday, June 5, 2011 - Bailey turns 16 tomorrow. SIXTEEN! And she is so sweet. We gave her the gift of musicals....season tickets to the Fisher Theatre. On the dockett this season are some fabulous shows: Come Fly Away • A Christmas Story the Musical • Million Dollar Quartet • Shrek the Musical • Beauty and the Beast• Blue Man Group.

Day 33 - Wednesday, February 2, 2011 - A big snowstorm was brewing yesterday, so my mom offered to come spend the night last night so that she would be here today to watch the kids, assuming the nanny would be snowed in and knowing I would still have to work. We are so lucky to have grandma around.
